توعد قائد المنطقة العسكرية الثالثة في اليمن، اللواء الركن منصور ثوابة (الأحد)، بتحرير صنعاء والقضاء على المليشيا الحوثية، مؤكداً أن مأرب اليوم ليس مأرب أمس.

ونقل المركز الإعلامي للجيش اليمني عن ثوابة قوله: مأرب كانت وستظل عصية على مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية، بفضل تماسك أبنائها وقبائلها والقوات المسلحة وقوات الأمن والمقاومة الشعبية، مضيفاً: مأرب اليوم ليست مأرب الأمس؛ فمأرب الأمس كانت تدافع، ومأرب اليوم تهاجم وعينها على صنعاء.

وأشار إلى أن القوات المسلحة مستمرة في معركتها حتى تحرير كل المناطق الخاضعة لسيطرة مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية واستعادة مؤسسات الدولة، مبيناً أن الجيش تصدى لهجمات الحوثي وألحق به خسائر فادحة في الأرواح والعتاد.

ولفت إلى أن هناك العشرات من عناصر المليشيا سقطوا بين قتيل وجريح وأسير، قائلاً: "أعداد كبيرة من جثث تلك عناصر المليشيا ما تزال متناثرة في الشعاب والوديان ومناطق المواجهات".

وأضاف: "العديد منهم تركتهم المليشيا الحوثية في المواجهات دون إجلاء أو إسعاف"، مؤكداً أن المليشيا الحوثية إرهابية لا دين لها ولا أخلاق، لا في الحرب ولا في السلم.

وعن مستوى التنسيق قال ثوابة: "القوات المسلحة في جبهات مأرب ومختلف الجبهات تعمل ضمن غرفة عمليات مشتركة، وتحت قيادة موحدة، ووفق توجيهات القيادة العليا"، مشيداً بمستوى التنسيق بين القوات البرية والقوات الجوية خلال العمليات القتالية، وفي مختلف قطاعات القوات المسلحة.

وثمن قائد المنطقة العسكرية الثالثة، جهود التحالف العربي بقيادة السعودية في دعم وإسناد القوات المسلحة، مؤكداً استمرار التنسيق والعمل المشترك في مختلف الجبهات على امتداد مسرح العمليات.

ودعا ثوابة رجال القبائل في المناطق الخاضعة لسيطرة مليشيا الحوثي إلى عدم إرسال أبنائهم للقتال في صفوف المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية، محذراً من أن الحوثي يرسلهم إلى محرقة، وسيعودون جثثاً هامدة.

The Commander of the Third Military Region in Yemen, Major General Mansour Thawabah, vowed on Sunday to liberate Sana'a and eliminate the Houthi militia, affirming that Marib today is not Marib of yesterday.

The Yemeni Army's media center reported Thawabah as saying: "Marib has been and will remain resistant to the terrorist Houthi militia, thanks to the cohesion of its people, tribes, armed forces, security forces, and popular resistance." He added: "Marib today is not Marib of yesterday; Marib of yesterday was defending, while Marib today is attacking with its eyes on Sana'a."

He pointed out that the armed forces are continuing their battle until all areas under the control of the terrorist Houthi militia are liberated and state institutions are restored, indicating that the army has repelled Houthi attacks and inflicted heavy losses on them in lives and equipment.

He noted that dozens of militia members have fallen among the dead, wounded, and captured, saying: "A large number of the bodies of those militia members are still scattered in the valleys and areas of confrontation."

He added: "Many of them were left by the Houthi militia in the confrontations without evacuation or medical assistance," emphasizing that the Houthi militia is a terrorist group with no religion or morals, neither in war nor in peace.

Regarding the level of coordination, Thawabah said: "The armed forces on the fronts of Marib and various fronts are working within a joint operations room, under unified command, and according to the directives of the higher leadership," praising the level of coordination between ground forces and air forces during combat operations, and across various sectors of the armed forces.

The Commander of the Third Military Region praised the efforts of the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia in supporting and backing the armed forces, confirming the continuation of coordination and joint work across various fronts throughout the theater of operations.

Thawabah called on tribal leaders in areas under Houthi militia control not to send their sons to fight alongside the terrorist Houthi militia, warning that the Houthis are sending them to a slaughterhouse, and they will return as lifeless bodies.
