أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة المملكة العربية السعودية واستنكارها بأشد العبارات اقتحام مسؤول في سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي المسجد الأقصى المبارك، برفقة مجموعة من المستوطنين المتطرفين، تحت حماية قوات الاحتلال؛ في انتهاك صارخ لحرمة المسجد واستفزاز لمشاعر المسلمين في أنحاء العالم.

وأكدت المملكة رفضها القاطع للممارسات الاستفزازية وأعمال التحريض والعنف غير القانونية والمتطرفة التي يرتكبها مسؤولو الاحتلال بحق الشعب الفلسطيني والأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة.

وشددت على ضرورة اضطلاع المجتمع الدولي بمسؤولياته، والتحرك لوقف جميع الاعتداءات المخالفة للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation and strong denunciation of the intrusion of an official from the Israeli occupation authorities into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, accompanied by a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces; in a blatant violation of the sanctity of the mosque and an provocation of the feelings of Muslims around the world.

The Kingdom affirmed its absolute rejection of the provocative practices and illegal, extremist acts of incitement and violence committed by the occupation officials against the Palestinian people and the occupied Palestinian territories.

It emphasized the necessity for the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and take action to stop all assaults that violate international law and international humanitarian law.
