أوضح رئيس أركان محور تعز اللواء عبدالعزيز المجيدي، أن الجيش اليمني تمكن خلال الساعات الماضية من استعادة العديد من المناطق والمواقع التي كانت تسيطر عليها المليشيات الحوثية.

وقال لـ«عكاظ» إن المعارك مع المليشيات الحوثية مستمرة ومشتعلة في عدة جبهات منها الكدحة، وجبل حبشي، واتجاه الوازعية في بني عمرو وشريرة، وغيرها من مناطق المواجهات.

وأشار إلى أن الطيران الحكومي نفذ خلال الساعات الماضية ضربات جوية دقيقة استهدفت تحشيدات ضخمة للمليشيات على أكثر من جبهة، ملحقاً بها خسائر كبيرة في العتاد والأرواح.

وأفاد المجيدي باستمرار التحشيدات الحوثية التي تدفع بها المليشيات لتنفيذ هجوم واسع على محاور جبهات تعز وطور الباحة بمحافظة لحج، لافتاً إلى أن المليشيات تستميت في تحقيق أي اختراق عسكري تسعى لتقديمه كنصر حاسم، بالتزامن مع ترتيباتها للاحتفال بـ21 سبتمبر، ذكرى انقلابها على مؤسسات الدولة والنظام الجمهوري، بهدف العودة بالبلد إلى سنوات الجهل والتخلف والنظام الإمامي الذي أسقطته ثورة 26 سبتمبر 1962. وأكد أن قوات الجيش في محور تعز ومحور طور الباحة، إضافة إلى قوات العمالقة ودرع الوطن، تصدت لهجوم المليشيات، وأنه على الرغم من أرتال الحشود الكبيرة، لم تتمكن من إحراز أي تقدم وتلقت خسائر موجعة. وقال: «هذه المليشيات لا يمكنها تحقيق أي انتصار على الجيش الذي يخوض المعركة بإيمان مطلق بمسؤولياته وبمعنويات عالية»، مشيراً إلى أن المليشيات تواصل تكرار المحاولات وتعود مندحرة.

وقال إن سيطرة المليشيات الحوثية المصنفة جماعة إرهابية على باب المندب وضعت الجميع أمام اختبار حقيقي لجدية العالم في محاربة الإرهاب وحماية طرق التجارة العالمية، مشدداً على أن الحكومة اليمنية لن تنتظر طويلاً تحرك الدول الكبرى، ولن تسمح ببقاء المضيق تحت سيطرة المليشيات، وسوف تستعيده.

وأكد المجيدي: «لن نفرط بالسيادة ولن تتنازل عن أي شبر من أراضي اليمن، وسوف نمارس واجباتنا الدستورية ونستعيد كافة المناطق والمدن التي لا تزال تحت سيطرة المليشيات، ومنها تلك التي سقطت أخيراً على امتداد الساحل الغربي وصولاً إلى باب المندب، دون إغفال تحرير العاصمة صنعاء».

وقال إن سقوط مناطق الساحل الغربي ومدينة المخا شكل صدمة لعموم اليمنيين، لكن الجيش استوعب الصدمة واستعاد زمام المبادرة، وإن المعركة في الساحل الغربي تحولت إلى جبهة كبيرة لاستنزاف قدرات المليشيات. وأضاف أن الساحل الغربي على طول امتداده يتحول اليوم إلى معركة ملتهبة من تحت أقدام المليشيات، وسيكون المحرقة التي تلتهم هذه المليشيات الغازية. وقال إن معركة الساحل تشهد تصاعداً في العمليات، وتجد عناصر المليشيات نفسها أمام مساحات كبيرة من الرعب والموت، وأنه لن يُكتب لها أي نصر على هذه الأرض، وستكون في مرمى نيران الجيش العازم على استعادة المناطق كافة.

وأكد أن القوات المسلحة اليمنية سوف تحرر جميع المناطق التي سقطت بيد المليشيات، وأن المعارك لن تتوقف إلا بهزيمة المليشيات وإسقاط الانقلاب واستعادة العاصمة صنعاء.

The Chief of Staff of the Taiz Axis, Major General Abdulaziz Al-Majidi, clarified that the Yemeni army has managed in recent hours to regain many areas and sites that were under the control of Houthi militias.

He told "Okaz" that battles with the Houthi militias are ongoing and intense on several fronts, including Al-Kadah, Jabal Habashi, and towards Al-Waziyah in Bani Amr and Sharira, among other areas of confrontation.

He pointed out that government aviation has carried out precise airstrikes in recent hours targeting massive Houthi mobilizations on more than one front, inflicting significant losses in equipment and lives.

Al-Majidi reported the continued Houthi mobilizations that the militias are pushing to carry out a wide attack on the fronts of Taiz and Tor Al-Baha in Lahij Governorate, noting that the militias are desperate to achieve any military breakthrough that they seek to present as a decisive victory, coinciding with their arrangements to celebrate September 21, the anniversary of their coup against the state institutions and the republican system, aiming to return the country to years of ignorance, backwardness, and the imamate system that was overthrown by the September 26, 1962 revolution. He confirmed that the army forces in the Taiz Axis and Tor Al-Baha Axis, in addition to the Giants Forces and the National Shield, repelled the militias' attack, and despite the large mobilization, they were unable to make any progress and suffered painful losses. He said: "These militias cannot achieve any victory over the army, which is fighting the battle with absolute faith in its responsibilities and high morale," pointing out that the militias continue to repeat their attempts and return defeated.

He stated that the Houthi militias, classified as a terrorist group, controlling Bab al-Mandab have placed everyone before a real test of the world's seriousness in combating terrorism and protecting global trade routes, stressing that the Yemeni government will not wait long for the major countries to act, and will not allow the strait to remain under the control of the militias, and will regain it.

Al-Majidi affirmed: "We will not compromise on sovereignty and will not concede any inch of Yemeni territory, and we will fulfill our constitutional duties and regain all areas and cities that are still under the control of the militias, including those that recently fell along the western coast up to Bab al-Mandab, without neglecting the liberation of the capital, Sana'a."

He said that the fall of areas on the western coast and the city of Al-Mokha was a shock to all Yemenis, but the army absorbed the shock and regained the initiative, and the battle on the western coast has turned into a large front to deplete the capabilities of the militias. He added that the western coast along its stretch is today turning into a blazing battle beneath the feet of the militias, and it will be the inferno that consumes these invading militias. He stated that the coastal battle is witnessing an escalation in operations, and the militia elements find themselves facing vast areas of terror and death, and that they will not achieve any victory on this land, and will be in the crosshairs of the army's fire determined to regain all areas.

He confirmed that the Yemeni armed forces will liberate all areas that have fallen into the hands of the militias, and that the battles will not stop until the defeat of the militias, the overthrow of the coup, and the restoration of the capital, Sana'a.
