Young American actress Morgan Gamble, 21, has died in a horrific car accident in Atlanta, Georgia, after her vehicle collided with one driven by a man suspected of speeding more than two and a half times the legal limit.

The accident occurred while Gamble was driving her car when another vehicle struck hers. According to police documents, the speed of the other vehicle was approximately 94.4 miles per hour, which is about 152 kilometers per hour, in an area where the maximum speed limit is 35 miles per hour, equivalent to about 56 kilometers per hour.

Gamble was transported to the hospital in critical condition, but she succumbed to her injuries. The police arrested the other driver, Nikolai Dunford, 36, and charged him with reckless driving, speeding, and first-degree vehicular homicide, while investigations are ongoing, and no final court ruling has been issued in the case.

Gamble was not just a young face appearing in a television production; she was a senior at Clark Atlanta University, studying media, television, cinema, and radio, and was seeking to build a professional future in the entertainment industry. She participated in the new version of the comedy series "A Different World," produced by Netflix, as part of the supporting cast, and appeared in the pilot episode of the show, according to American reports.

The university confirmed the death of its student in a statement mourning Gamble, expressing condolences to her family, friends, and colleagues, and noting that psychological support services would be provided to students affected by the accident. It also urged members of the university community to support one another and respect the family's privacy during this difficult time.

For her part, Felicia Pride, the producer and head of the new version of the series, expressed her sadness at the loss of a team member and extended her condolences to Gamble's family and loved ones, while her colleagues and friends expressed their shock at her sudden passing, recalling her ambition and passion for media work.

The series in which Gamble participated is a revival of a famous comedy that first aired in 1987, focusing on the lives of students at a fictional college, before its story returns in a new version that follows the experiences of a contemporary generation on campus. The show represented an opportunity for several young talents to gain experience in television production, and Gamble hoped to continue her career both behind and in front of the camera.
