تلقّى نادي الهلال خطاباً من لجنة الانضباط بالاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم، تطلب فيه إفادة بشأن ملابسات حصول اللاعب كرينسيسو سامرفيل، المحترف الهولندي في صفوف الفريق، على بطاقة حمراء، وذلك خلال لقاء الهلال والغرافة القطري ضمن مباريات الجولة الأولى من دور المجموعات لمسابقة دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة.

وقد شهدت المواجهة حصول اللاعب سامرفيل على البطاقة الحمراء الأولى في مسيرته الاحترافية بعد اشتباكه بالأيدي مع لاعب الغرافة عبدالرحمن الرشيدي، ليضطر حكم المباراة عمر العلي إلى إشهار البطاقة الحمراء للاعب.

ومع تأكد غياب سامرفيل رسمياً عن مواجهة الهلال القادمة في البطولة أمام السد القطري؛ بسبب الإيقاف تلقائياً لمباراة واحدة، فمن المحتمل زيادة العقوبة إلى مباراتين إضافيتين في حال صدور التقرير الانضباطي النهائي للحكم والاتحاد الآسيوي.

وكان سامرفيل قد بدأ مسيرته الاحترافية مع فريق فينورد الهولندي، مروراً بفريقي ليدز يونايتد ووست هام الإنجليزيين، قبل أن ينضم أخيراً إلى صفوف الهلال.

The Al-Hilal Club received a letter from the Disciplinary Committee of the Asian Football Confederation, requesting information regarding the circumstances surrounding the red card received by player Krinsiso Samervil, the Dutch professional in the team's ranks, during the match between Al-Hilal and Qatari Al-Gharafa in the first round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League.

During the match, player Samervil received the first red card of his professional career after a physical altercation with Al-Gharafa player Abdulrahman Al-Rashidi, forcing referee Omar Al-Ali to issue the red card to the player.

With Samervil's absence officially confirmed for Al-Hilal's upcoming match in the tournament against Qatari Al-Sadd due to an automatic one-match suspension, it is possible that the penalty could be increased to an additional two matches if the final disciplinary report from the referee and the Asian Confederation is issued.

Samervil began his professional career with the Dutch team Feyenoord, passing through English teams Leeds United and West Ham, before finally joining Al-Hilal.
