أكد الأمين العام للاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم جاسم الرميحي اكتمال جميع الترتيبات الخاصة بانطلاق بطولة كأس الخليج العربي «خليجي 27»، التي تستضيفها مدينة جدة، مشيراً إلى أن حفل الافتتاح والمنافسات باتا جاهزين لانطلاق البطولة غداً الأربعاء.

وقال الرميحي، خلال مؤتمر صحافي عقده اليوم (الثلاثاء) في جدة بحضور الأمين العام للاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم ماجد آل صاحب، إن الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم تواصل مع جميع القنوات الخليجية بشأن حقوق النقل التلفزيوني، إلا أن ثلاث جهات فقط اشترت الحقوق حتى موعد المؤتمر، وهي قنوات «الكأس» القطرية، وقناة «عُمان الرياضية»، ومنصة «شاشا»، مؤكداً أن المجال لا يزال مفتوحاً أمام القنوات الرياضية الأخرى للحصول على حقوق نقل مباريات البطولة.

وأوضح أن قيمة حقوق النقل لم تشهد أي زيادة مقارنة بالنسخة الماضية التي أقيمت في الكويت، وقال: «لا توجد زيادة في التكاليف على الحقوق، وهي نفس متطلبات حقوق خليجي 26»، متمنياً أن تحذو بقية القنوات حذو الجهات التي بادرت بشراء الحقوق، ومؤكداً حرص الاتحاد الخليجي على إتاحة البطولة لأكبر عدد ممكن من الجماهير.

وفيما يتعلق بالإقبال الجماهيري، كشف الرميحي عن تواصل الاتحاد مع الاتحادات الخليجية من أجل دعم الحضور الجماهيري وحث الجماهير على شراء التذاكر، مشيراً إلى أن الإقبال في بدايات البطولات يكون عادة أقل من المتوقع، لكنه أبدى ثقته بالجمهور في جدة، التي وصفها بأنها مدينة معروفة بعشق كرة القدم وامتلاء ملاعبها بالجماهير.

وحول أسعار تذاكر مباريات «خليجي 27»، أوضح الرميحي أن الاتحاد الخليجي نسق مع اللجنة المنظمة للبطولة وتشاور معها قبل اعتماد الأسعار، مؤكداً أن الأسعار المحددة جاءت وفق مقارنة بالبطولات الآسيوية، معتبراً أن الأسعار المعتمدة مناسبة لبطولة بهذا الحجم.

وكشف الأمين العام للاتحاد الخليجي عن تسجيل نحو 600 إعلامي لتغطية منافسات البطولة في جدة، فيما أوضح أن الإعلان عن مستضيف النسخة القادمة من كأس الخليج سيتم خلال اجتماع الاتحاد المقرر في 28 سبتمبر الجاري.

وتطرق الرميحي إلى إمكانية تطوير نظام البطولة مستقبلاً وتوسيع دائرة المشاركة، موضحاً أن كل الخيارات تبقى واردة، فيما ستشهد بطولة الخليج للناشئين تحت 17 عاماً مشاركة منتخبات من خارج منطقة الخليج، من بينها مصر والمغرب والصين، إلى جانب المنتخبات الخليجية، بينما أكد أن بطولة الرجال تحتفظ بخصوصيتها وفق توجه الاتحاد الخليجي، مع إمكانية إجراء تغييرات مستقبلية.

وتنطلق منافسات «خليجي 27» غداً الأربعاء في جدة، بمشاركة ثمانية منتخبات تتنافس على اللقب من خلال 15 مباراة، وتستمر البطولة حتى 6 أكتوبر القادم، وتقام جميع المباريات على ملعبي مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية «الإنماء» ومدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل الرياضية.

ويشهد اليوم الافتتاحي مباراتين ضمن المجموعة الأولى، تجمع الأولى المنتخب العراقي بنظيره العُماني عند الساعة 5:30 مساءً بتوقيت مكة المكرمة، فيما يلتقي المنتخب السعودي، مستضيف البطولة، نظيره الكويتي عند الساعة التاسعة مساءً. وتستكمل مباريات الجولة الأولى بعد غد الخميس، بمواجهتي الإمارات واليمن، والبحرين، حامل اللقب، وقطر.

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Football Federation, Jassim Al-Rumaihi, confirmed that all arrangements for the launch of the Arabian Gulf Cup "Gulf 27," which will be hosted in the city of Jeddah, have been completed, indicating that the opening ceremony and competitions are ready to kick off tomorrow, Wednesday.

Al-Rumaihi stated during a press conference held today (Tuesday) in Jeddah, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Saudi Football Federation, Majid Al-Sahib, that the Gulf Football Federation has communicated with all Gulf channels regarding broadcasting rights; however, only three entities have purchased the rights up to the time of the conference, which are the Qatari "Al-Kass" channels, "Oman Sports" channel, and the "Shasha" platform, emphasizing that the door is still open for other sports channels to acquire the rights to broadcast the tournament matches.

He clarified that the value of the broadcasting rights has not seen any increase compared to the previous edition held in Kuwait, saying: "There is no increase in costs for the rights; they are the same requirements as for Gulf 26," wishing that other channels would follow the lead of the entities that took the initiative to purchase the rights, and confirming the Gulf Federation's commitment to making the tournament accessible to as many fans as possible.

Regarding fan attendance, Al-Rumaihi revealed that the federation is in contact with the Gulf federations to support fan attendance and encourage fans to purchase tickets, noting that attendance in the early stages of tournaments is usually lower than expected, but he expressed confidence in the audience in Jeddah, which he described as a city known for its love of football and filled stadiums.

Concerning the ticket prices for the "Gulf 27" matches, Al-Rumaihi explained that the Gulf Federation coordinated with the organizing committee of the tournament and consulted with them before approving the prices, confirming that the set prices were determined based on comparisons with Asian tournaments, considering that the approved prices are suitable for a tournament of this magnitude.

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Federation revealed that around 600 media personnel have registered to cover the tournament competitions in Jeddah, while he indicated that the announcement of the host for the next edition of the Gulf Cup will be made during the federation meeting scheduled for September 28.

Al-Rumaihi addressed the possibility of developing the tournament system in the future and expanding the participation circle, explaining that all options remain open, while the Gulf Under-17 Championship will witness the participation of teams from outside the Gulf region, including Egypt, Morocco, and China, alongside the Gulf teams, while he confirmed that the men's tournament retains its specificity according to the direction of the Gulf Federation, with the possibility of future changes.

The "Gulf 27" competitions will kick off tomorrow, Wednesday, in Jeddah, with the participation of eight teams competing for the title through 15 matches, and the tournament will continue until October 6, with all matches taking place at the King Abdullah Sports City "Al-Inma" and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City.

The opening day will witness two matches in the first group, the first of which will bring together the Iraqi team and its Omani counterpart at 5:30 PM Mecca time, while the host team, Saudi Arabia, will face Kuwait at 9 PM. The first round matches will continue after tomorrow, Thursday, with the matches of the UAE against Yemen, and Bahrain, the defending champion, against Qatar.
