أكد نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية الباكستاني محمد إسحاق دار اليوم (السبت)، أهمية استمرار إمدادات الطاقة دون انقطاع ومرور السفن بأمان وسرعة، نظراً لتداعيات ذلك على الدول النامية وسلسلة التوريد العالمية.

وشدد دار في اتصال هاتفي بنظيره الإيراني عباس عراقجي على أن الحوار والدبلوماسية يظلان الوسيلة الوحيدة الممكنة لضمان السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة، وبحسب وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية فإن الاتصال ناقش آخر التطورات الإقليمية.

وأفادت الوزارة على حسابها في «إكس» أن الوزيرين اتفقا على الحفاظ على تعاون وثيق ولقائهما في نيويورك على هامش الدورة الـ81 للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة. وكانت وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية قالت إن عراقجي بحث مع نظيره الباكستاني دار في الاتصال التطورات الإقليمية والموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

في الوقت ذاته، قال مسؤولون في الإدارة الأمريكية إن النفط يتدفق بزيادة هائلة عبر مضيق هرمز مقارنة بما كان عليه الوضع قبل أشهر، موضحين أن تصريحات وزير الطاقة الأمريكي كريس رايت عن مرور 10 إلى 11 مليون برميل نفط يومياً في المتوسط. واعتبر المسؤولون، في تصريحات صحافية، أن «أوراق الضغط التي يمتلكها النظام الإيراني في مضيق هرمز تتراجع أسبوعاً بعد أسبوع»، مشيرين إلى «استمرار المسارات البديلة التي تعمل القوات البحرية الأمريكية على إنشائها في تحقيق نتائج، بالتزامن مع الحصار البحري المفروض على إيران».

في غضون ذلك، أقرت الداخلية الإيرانية اليوم، بوجود اغتيالات لعدد من القيادات الإيرانية. وقال المتحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية الإيرانية، إن جماعات مسلحة منظمة مرتبطة بمن وصفه بـ«العدو» هي التي تغتال بعض الشخصيات في محافظتي كردستان وسيستان وبلوشستان، موضحاً أن بلاده اتخذت إجراءات مشتركة مع دول الجوار بشأن عمليات الاغتيال داخل البلاد. وأضاف: «لدى أجهزتنا الأمنية إشراف كامل على الوضع الأمني في الحدود وعمليات الاغتيال لن تحقق أي نتيجة».

The Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar emphasized today (Saturday) the importance of uninterrupted energy supplies and the safe and swift passage of ships, given the implications for developing countries and the global supply chain.

Dar stressed in a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable means to ensure peace and stability in the region. According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the call discussed the latest regional developments.

The ministry reported on its account on "X" that the two ministers agreed to maintain close cooperation and to meet in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that Araghchi discussed with his Pakistani counterpart Dar the regional developments and topics of mutual interest during the call.

Meanwhile, U.S. officials stated that oil is flowing at a significantly increased rate through the Strait of Hormuz compared to the situation a few months ago, clarifying that U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright's remarks indicated an average passage of 10 to 11 million barrels of oil per day. The officials, in press statements, considered that "the leverage that the Iranian regime has in the Strait of Hormuz is diminishing week by week," pointing to "the continued alternative routes that U.S. naval forces are establishing, yielding results alongside the maritime blockade imposed on Iran."

In the meantime, the Iranian Interior Ministry acknowledged today the existence of assassinations of several Iranian leaders. The spokesman for the Iranian Interior Ministry stated that organized armed groups linked to what he described as "the enemy" are responsible for the assassination of certain figures in the provinces of Kurdistan and Sistan and Baluchestan, explaining that his country has taken joint measures with neighboring countries regarding the assassination operations within the country. He added: "Our security agencies have full oversight of the security situation at the borders, and assassination operations will not achieve any results."
