أوقعت الأجهزة الأمنية في أسيوط ما بات يُعرف إعلاميًا بـ(دجال الأونلاين)، بعد رصد نشاط واسع لشخص روّج لنفسه عبر منصات التواصل باعتباره (معالجًا روحانيًا) قادرًا على علاج الأمراض المرتبطة بما يسميه (المس الشيطاني)، مقابل مبالغ مالية ضخمة جمع بعضها من جلسات تُجرى عبر الإنترنت.

وبحسب مصادر أمنية، توسّع المتهم في نشاطه مستغلاً إعلانات على (فيسبوك) و(إنستغرام)، ادّعى فيها قدرته على جلب الحبيب ورد المطلقة وإقناع الأهل بالزواج وفكّ الأسحار، وصولاً إلى ما وصفه بـ«الطاعة الكاملة»، مستدرجاً ضحايا من مختلف المحافظات عبر خدمات «الكشف والعلاج أونلاين».

وأوضحت التقارير أن المتهم حقق أرباحًا وصلت إلى ملايين الجنيهات، إذ كان يفرض مبالغ مرتفعة على الجلسات الإلكترونية، ويحصل على نصف القيمة مقدمًا، بينما يُسدَّد النصف الآخر بعد «تحقق النتيجة» التي غالبًا لم تتحقق، وفق شهادات ضحايا.

ورغم ذلك، كشفت الواقعة عن مفارقة لافتة، إذ دافع بعض المتعاملين معه عنه عبر مواقع التواصل، مؤكدين نجاح خدماته، ما ساهم في استمرار الترويج لنشاطه.

وجاء سقوطه بعد تنسيق بين الإدارة العامة لمكافحة جرائم تقنية المعلومات وقطاع الأمن العام وأجهزة الأمن في أسيوط، حيث جرى تحديد هويته وضبطه داخل نطاق مركز البداري، والعثور بحوزته على هاتفين يحتويان على أدلة رقمية تثبت نشاطه.

وخلال التحقيقات الأولية، أقر المتهم بممارسة الدجل والشعوذة بهدف الاستيلاء على أموال المواطنين، وأُحيل إلى النيابة العامة التي تتولى التحقيق في الاتهامات، بما فيها استغلال مواقع التواصل في الترويج لممارسات احتيالية.

The security forces in Asyut arrested what has become known in the media as the (Online Charlatan), after monitoring the extensive activities of a person who promoted himself on social media platforms as a (spiritual healer) capable of curing diseases related to what he calls (demonic possession), in exchange for large sums of money, some of which he collected from sessions conducted online.

According to security sources, the accused expanded his activities by exploiting advertisements on (Facebook) and (Instagram), claiming his ability to bring back lovers, reconcile divorced couples, convince families to marry, and break spells, reaching what he described as "complete obedience," luring victims from various governorates through "online diagnosis and treatment" services.

Reports indicated that the accused made profits amounting to millions of pounds, as he imposed high fees for the electronic sessions, collecting half of the amount in advance, while the other half was to be paid after "the result was achieved," which often did not materialize, according to the testimonies of victims.

Despite this, the incident revealed a striking paradox, as some of his clients defended him on social media, affirming the success of his services, which contributed to the continued promotion of his activities.

His downfall came after coordination between the General Administration for Combating Cyber Crimes, the Public Security Sector, and security agencies in Asyut, where his identity was established and he was apprehended within the jurisdiction of the Badari Center, and two phones containing digital evidence proving his activities were found in his possession.

During the initial investigations, the accused admitted to practicing fraud and sorcery with the aim of seizing citizens' money, and he was referred to the Public Prosecution, which is investigating the charges, including the exploitation of social media to promote fraudulent practices.
