أعلنت الهيئة العامة للنقل تمديد السماح للمنشآت المرخصة في نشاط النقل الثقيل للبضائع لأغراض تجارية «لصالح المنشأة»، بالتعاقد على نقل البضائع غير المملوكة لها لمدة 6 أشهر إضافية، حتى 26 مارس 2027، بما يدعم مرونة القطاع ويرفع كفاءة استخدام أسطول النقل البري.

وأوضحت الهيئة أن التمديد يمكّن المنشآت المستفيدة من الاستفادة المثلى من قدراتها التشغيلية، بما يعزز مرونتها في تنفيذ عمليات نقل البضائع والاستجابة لاحتياجات السوق.

وأكدت أن الاستفادة من التمديد مشروطة بإصدار وثيقة نقل لكل بضاعة يتم نقلها وفق المتطلبات التنظيمية المعتمدة، بما يسهم في توثيق عمليات النقل، وتنظيم العلاقة بين أطرافها، ورفع مستوى الموثوقية والشفافية في النشاط.

وأشارت الهيئة إلى أن التمديد يأتي امتداداً لحزمة من الإجراءات التنظيمية الهادفة إلى تعزيز جاهزية قطاع النقل الثقيل ورفع كفاءة الأسطول القائم، بما يسهم في دعم استقرار سلاسل الإمداد ومواكبة احتياجات حركة البضائع داخل المملكة.

The Public Transport Authority announced the extension of the allowance for licensed establishments in the heavy goods transport activity for commercial purposes "for the benefit of the establishment," to contract for the transport of goods not owned by them for an additional 6 months, until March 26, 2027, which supports the flexibility of the sector and enhances the efficiency of the use of the land transport fleet.

The authority clarified that the extension enables the benefiting establishments to optimally utilize their operational capabilities, thereby enhancing their flexibility in executing goods transport operations and responding to market needs.

It confirmed that benefiting from the extension is conditional upon issuing a transport document for each item being transported in accordance with the approved regulatory requirements, which contributes to documenting transport operations, organizing the relationship between its parties, and raising the level of reliability and transparency in the activity.

The authority pointed out that the extension comes as part of a package of regulatory measures aimed at enhancing the readiness of the heavy transport sector and improving the efficiency of the existing fleet, which contributes to supporting the stability of supply chains and meeting the needs of goods movement within the Kingdom.
