أسدلت السلطات المصرية، (السبت)، الستار على قضية مقتل طبيب الساحل أسامة صبور، بتنفيذ حكم الإعدام شنقاً بحق الطبيب أحمد شحتة والممرض أحمد فرج، بعد إدانتهما بقتل زميلهما عام 2023، ودفن جثمانه داخل حفرة في عيادة المتهم الرئيسي.

وبدأت الواقعة باستدراج المجني عليه إلى العيادة عبر مكالمة هاتفية أجرتها المتهمة الثالثة، وهي محامية، بحجة الكشف الطبي على والدتها في المنزل، قبل أن يعتدي عليه المتهمان ويحقناه بمادة مخدرة أفقدته الوعي، ثم ينقلاه بواسطة كرسي متحرك إلى عيادة المتهم الرئيسي بمنطقة الساحل.
وكشفت التحقيقات أن المتهمين احتجزا الضحية داخل حفرة أُعدت مسبقاً، وعقب استعادته وعيه، ساوماه على أمواله وطلبا منه الاتصال بأسرته للحصول على فدية قدرها 200 ألف دولار.
ولقي المجني عليه حتفه نتيجة هبوط حاد في الدورة الدموية والتنفس، إثر حقنه بجرعات زائدة من المهدئات والمواد المخدرة، في ظل بقائه فترة طويلة دون طعام أو شراب، قبل أن يُدفن داخل الحفرة وتُغطى بالسيراميك لإخفاء معالم الجريمة.
وانكشفت الجريمة بعد انبعاث رائحة كريهة من المكان، ما أدى إلى اكتشاف الجثمان والقبض على المتهمين.
وشمل تنفيذ حكم الإعدام الطبيب أحمد شحتة، الذي أُدين بوصفه المخطط الرئيسي للجريمة، والممرض أحمد فرج، وذلك بعد رفض محكمة النقض الطعون المقدمة من هيئة دفاعهما.
وكانت المحكمة قد أيدت في السياق ذاته عقوبة السجن المشدد لمدة 15 عاماً بحق المحامية إيمان محمد، المتهمة الثالثة في القضية.

The Egyptian authorities, on Saturday, closed the case of the murder of coastal doctor Osama Sabour by carrying out the death sentence by hanging against doctor Ahmed Shehta and nurse Ahmed Farag, after they were convicted of killing their colleague in 2023 and burying his body inside a pit in the main defendant's clinic.

The incident began with the victim being lured to the clinic through a phone call made by the third defendant, who is a lawyer, under the pretext of a medical examination for her mother at home, before the two defendants assaulted him and injected him with a narcotic substance that rendered him unconscious. They then transported him using a wheelchair to the main defendant's clinic in the coastal area.
Investigations revealed that the defendants held the victim inside a pre-prepared pit, and after he regained consciousness, they extorted him for his money and asked him to contact his family to obtain a ransom of 200,000 dollars.
The victim died as a result of acute circulatory and respiratory failure due to being injected with excessive doses of sedatives and narcotic substances, while remaining for a long period without food or drink, before being buried in the pit and covered with ceramic tiles to conceal the crime.
The crime was uncovered after a foul odor emanated from the location, leading to the discovery of the body and the arrest of the defendants.
The execution of the death sentence included doctor Ahmed Shehta, who was convicted as the main planner of the crime, and nurse Ahmed Farag, following the rejection of the appeals submitted by their defense team by the Court of Cassation.
In the same context, the court upheld the harsh prison sentence of 15 years against lawyer Iman Mohamed, the third defendant in the case.
