One Match

David Silva stated in remarks to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo": "I am surprised; in the end, it’s just one match. They informed me as if I had signed a contract for a whole season."

He added: "It’s one match in the league, but it remains just a match. When the opportunity was presented to me, it seemed interesting because it will take place in Hong Kong, a city I love. I have a friend there, and I have visited several times. It’s nice to participate in one match and try to perform well."

Money Has Nothing to Do With It

David Silva insisted that money has nothing to do with it, saying: "Some expressed concern about my financial situation, but in the end, I laugh because people rush to make decisions for the silliest reasons.
